What do ON and PN shares mean?
An ON stock is a Common Share (Ação Ordinária), which grants voting rights at the company's general meetings. A PN stock (Ação Preferencial) is a Preferred Share, which gives preference to receive profits or refund of capital in case the company is dissolved. However, preferred stocks do not grant voting rights or restrict them.
Preferred stocks can also be differentiated by classes: A, B, C or any other letter provided after "PN". Features of every class are established by the stock-issuing company in its by-laws. Such differences vary from company to company.

What is Home Broker?
It is a system connected to MEGA BOLSA (BOVESPA trading system) that enables investor to send out orders through the Brokerage Firm’s website. In order to do that, the user must be client of a Brokerage Firm that offers the home broker system. Click for further information.

What is MEGA BOLSA?

It is the Special Corporate Governance Stock Index, designed to measure the return of a theoretical portfolio composed of shares of companies with a good level of corporate governance. What is CBLC?
Created in 1997 as a spin-off of BOVESPA, CBLC (Brazilian Clearing and Depository Corporation) acts as a Central Securities Depository, a Securities Settlement System and a Central Counterparty for equities, equities' derivatives and corporate debt instruments. It is a for-profit corporation owned by market participants and a self regulatory organization under the supervision of the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) and the Central Bank.

What is BTC - Securities Lending Program?
Opportunity to increase the return of your investments.
Holders of investment portfolios in general may donate securities, including pension and investment funds. Investors, natural persons and legal entities, including financial institutions, may borrow securities on loan, there being legal restrictions for only some segments of institutional investors.
The Securities Lending Program - BTC is a service through which investors may make securities available for loan and interested parties may borrow them based on the presentation of guarantees. The CBLC – Brazilian Clearing and Depository Corporation acts as counterparty in the process and guarantees the operations.
The service is accessed by an electronic system and the borrower pays a fee to the lender, along with emoluments for the CBLC. The fee is freely negotiable between the parties. All of the dividends declared by the bond issuer belong to the original owner.
