As of July 16 Banco Credit Suisse Brasil S.A. has been acting as market maker for the stocks issued by Bematech S.A.
The role of the broker is to handle bid and ask offerings and constantly help boosting liquidity and improving price formation processes for the asset, traded under the code BEMA3.
In all there are 99 companies counting on Market Maker services; 89 shares, 5 BDRs and 5 are corporate bonds traded on BOVESPA Fix, the fixed income market.
BOVESPA has authorized market makers to ensure liquidity for assets and the activity was also authorized by Brazil's Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) on March 17, 2003, through CVM Instruction 384, and regulated by BOVESPA Resolution 293 dated July 22, 2003 (Equity) and Resolution 300 of July 20, 2004 (Fixed Income).
